Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: September 16, 2026
This policy explains the personal information Digital Rooftop handles through this website and its contact form, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Digital Rooftop LLC (“Digital Rooftop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates digitalrooftop.com. This policy applies to personal information processed through this website, including information submitted through our contact form.
It does not govern information we process for clients under a separate services agreement, or the privacy practices of websites and services that we do not control.
2. Information we collect
Contact-form notice at collection. The form collects the information shown in its fields, along with limited anti-spam data described below. We use it to review and respond to your inquiry, evaluate service fit, deliver and secure the form, and maintain appropriate business records. We do not sell your submitted answers or include them in Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, or Microsoft Advertising events, or in Microsoft Clarity recordings. See Section 5 for the criteria we use to determine retention.
Information you provide
When you contact us, we may collect:
- Your name, business name, email address, and optional website address.
- Your service interests, the type of help you are considering, business context, project or marketing budget range, current advertising-spend range, budget flexibility, preferred timing, and the message you submit.
- Information contained in later emails or other communications with us.
The website does not intentionally request sensitive personal data, including government identifiers or account credentials; payment-card or bank-account details; precise GPS location; racial or ethnic origin; religious beliefs; citizenship or immigration status; health, sex-life, or sexual-orientation information; genetic or biometric identifiers; or personal information about children. Please do not send that type of information through the contact form or free-text message field.
Information collected automatically
When you visit, our hosting and security providers may process standard technical data such as your IP address, approximate location derived from that address, browser and device type, requested pages, referring page, request time, and diagnostic or security events. We use this information to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the website.
If you submit the contact form, the site also uses a random request identifier and creates a one-way fingerprint of the validated inquiry to prevent duplicate delivery. Your IP address may be used temporarily to limit spam and repeated submissions. These controls do not make automated decisions about whether Digital Rooftop will work with you. The form also derives simple budget-review and timing labels from your answers so our team can review the inquiry; it does not automatically reject or accept anyone.
We use the Meta Pixel identifier 1375348519875844 to record page-view events. Meta may process your IP address, browser and device information, page URL, referring page, cookie or device identifiers, and related event data. Our implementation does not include contact-form answers in Pixel events. When a form submission succeeds, we record a Lead event without including the form answers.
We use Google Analytics measurement ID G-DBJX4W31EE to measure page views and related website activity. Google may process your IP address to derive approximate location, along with browser and device information, page URLs, referring pages, first-party cookie identifiers, and related event data. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. We do not send contact-form field contents to Google Analytics. We configure the Google tag with advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, and Google signals disabled. We also record limited, non-PII funnel events such as contact-form starts, completed steps, errors, CTA clicks, and confirmed inquiry submissions.
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand site behavior through session recordings, click and scroll maps, and technical diagnostics. We configure the contact form to be masked, so its fields and submitted answers are not included in Clarity recordings. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure anonymous page performance and visits; Cloudflare states that this service does not collect or use visitors' personal data.
We use Microsoft Advertising's Universal Event Tracking (UET) tag identifier 343272637 to measure page views and confirmed inquiry submissions for Microsoft Advertising. Microsoft may process your IP address, browser and device information, page URL, referring page, cookie or device identifiers, and related event data. We do not send contact-form answers to Microsoft Advertising.
When tracking is enabled and you submit the contact form, we may include the landing-page path, referring host, and standard campaign identifiers supplied in the URL (such as UTM parameters or advertising click IDs) with the inquiry delivered to our inbox. We use that information to understand how an inquiry reached us. We do not send those identifiers with your name, email address, message, or other contact-form answers to Google, Meta, Microsoft Advertising, or Clarity.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses the Meta Pixel for advertising measurement and Google Analytics for website measurement. Meta may set or read identifiers such as the _fbp cookie. Google Analytics may set or read first-party analytics cookies such as _ga. Clarity and advertising tags, including Microsoft Advertising UET, may also use similar technologies. Meta, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Microsoft Advertising UET do not load when the browser exposes an enabled Global Privacy Control signal. We do not store campaign attribution in session storage in that case. Cloudflare Web Analytics may still load because it provides anonymous, cookie-free performance measurement. You can also manage cookies in your browser. See the Meta Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy , the Microsoft Privacy Statement , and the Cloudflare Privacy Policy for their practices.
3. How we use personal information
We use personal information to:
- Review and respond to inquiries and discuss whether our services are a fit.
- Communicate about requested services and prepare proposals or project scoping.
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website.
- Understand website use and measure visits attributed to our advertising.
- Prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and other harmful activity.
- Comply with law and protect our rights, users, and business.
Submitting the contact form does not enroll you in a newsletter or marketing-email list. If we later offer optional marketing communications, we will provide the choices required by applicable law.
4. How we disclose personal information
We may disclose information to these categories of recipients:
- Service providers that help operate the website and communications, including Vercel for website hosting, Google Workspace for email, and Cloudflare for DNS services. Google Fonts delivers font files used by the Site and may receive standard connection data, such as your IP address and browser information, when those files load.
- Meta Platforms receives the Pixel page-view and technical data described above to provide advertising measurement and related advertising services.
- Google receives the Analytics page-view and technical data described above to provide website measurement services.
- Microsoft receives the Clarity behavior and technical data described above to provide session-replay and experience-analysis services, and Microsoft Advertising receives UET page-view and conversion data to provide advertising measurement services. Cloudflare receives the anonymous performance measurement described above to provide web analytics.
- Professional advisers, insurers, auditors, or contractors when reasonably necessary for legitimate business purposes and subject to appropriate obligations.
- Government authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
- A buyer, successor, or other participant in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell personal information for money. Under some U.S. state privacy laws, using the Meta Pixel or Microsoft Advertising UET may be considered “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. We do not use Site information for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
5. How long we keep information
We have not set one fixed retention period for inquiry emails. We determine how long to keep contact inquiries and related communications based on the time needed to respond, evaluate a potential relationship, maintain appropriate business records, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. If an inquiry becomes a client relationship, related records may be retained under the applicable client agreement and our business and legal retention needs.
Our providers may retain technical and security logs according to their service settings and terms. Our reasons for using those logs are site operation, troubleshooting, security, and legal compliance. Meta retains Pixel event data, Google retains Analytics event data, and Microsoft Clarity, Microsoft Advertising, and Cloudflare retain their analytics data according to their respective account settings, terms, and privacy policies.
In the contact endpoint itself, IP-based rate-limit entries ordinarily expire after about 10 minutes, and request identifiers, inquiry fingerprints, and delivery-status entries ordinarily expire after about 15 minutes. The delivered inquiry email may be retained longer under the criteria described above.
6. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on applicable U.S. state law and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to ask whether we process your personal information and to request access, a portable copy, correction, or deletion. Applicable law may also provide rights to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain sales, targeted advertising, or significant profiling.
To make a request, email contact@digitalrooftop.com or use our contact form with the subject line or opening words “Privacy Request.” Describe your request and the email address you used with us. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity and protect your data. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authority and identity verification.
We will respond within the period required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. If we deny a request, reply with the subject line “Privacy Appeal” and explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered. We will review the appeal and provide any complaint options required by law.
7. Browser privacy signals and third-party tracking
When a browser exposes an enabled Global Privacy Control signal, the Site does not load the Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, or Microsoft Advertising UET, and it does not persist campaign attribution in session storage. Cloudflare Web Analytics may still load because it is used for anonymous, cookie-free performance measurement. The Site does not otherwise respond differently to the older Do Not Track signal. You may also request to opt out of applicable targeted-advertising or sharing activity using the process in Section 6.
Other websites reached through links from this site may collect information under their own privacy policies. We do not control those third parties.
8. U.S. focus
This Site and our services are intended for U.S. businesses and visitors. Digital Rooftop operates from the United States and does not specifically market the Site or its services outside the United States.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, including encrypted website connections and access controls. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use the contact form only for ordinary business inquiries and do not include sensitive credentials or regulated personal information.
10. Children’s privacy
This business website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website, services, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here, update the effective date, and provide additional notice when required for a material change. Your information remains subject to the policy in effect when it is processed, unless applicable law permits otherwise.
